An animal-like perfume bottle

In fact, the general development path of perfume bottles is more and more concise and intentional.  It may also

be due to cost and mass production.

So much earlier, towards the end of the 19th century, we see more strange, figurative designs.  A real bird, for example, to wear perfume.  微信图片_20220129110459

There’s even a snakelike one, which would be great for some sexy and dangerous smells…

During the period of art deco, there were also many perfume bottles in the shape of animals.  They are more often found on bottle caps as an ornament.

This vintage perfume bottle from the 1920s has a cat sitting on it, as if guarding the scent for you. It’s so cute.

Nina Ricci has a very famous perfume called “Eternity” which was introduced in 1948.

Bottle cap is a flying dove, very clever, used to symbolize love to death.  A series of advertisements in those days were quite beautiful.

There are also more elegant, decorative approaches.  For example, this early 20th century butterfly-shaped old miniature perfume is actually a tiny bottle with a pair of wings embedded in the neck to complete the shape.

Put in the home as if a beautiful butterfly specimen, want to go out when carrying pick wings can, very human nature is changed.
