Introduction to the Application of Cosmetic Glass Bottles

Glass bottles used in cosmetics are mainly divided into skin care products (cream, lotion), perfume, essential oil, nail polish and other categories with small capacity, and those with a capacity of more than 200ml are rarely used in cosmetics. Glass bottles are also divided into wide mouth bottles and narrow mouth bottles. Solid paste is generally used in wide mouth bottles, and should be equipped with electrochemical aluminum or plastic caps. The bottle caps can be used for color spraying and other effects; Emulsion or aqueous paste generally uses narrow mouth bottle, which should be equipped with pump head. If it is equipped with a cover, it needs to be equipped with an inner plug. If it is equipped with an aqueous paste, it needs to be equipped with a small hole as well as an inner plug. If it is thicker, it needs to be equipped with a large hole inner plug.

The uneven thickness of glass bottles can easily cause damage or be easily crushed by the contents in severe cold conditions. Reasonable capacity should be tested during filling, and paper packaging should be used for transportation and separated separately. The product should be equipped with a color box, and the inner and middle boxes should be more effective in preventing vibration.

Combination form:

1. Cream bottle series: glass bottle body+double layer plastic outer cover (usually with a capacity of 10g-50g)

2. Essence liquid series: glass bottle body+plastic pump head or anodized pump head (relatively high capacity: 20-100ml)

3. Toner series: glass bottle body+plastic inner stopper+outer cover (100ml or above, also available with pump head)

4. Essential oil bottle series: glass bottle body+inner plug+large head cap or rubber drip head+dropper+electrochemical aluminum cap

Production process:

Bottle body: Transparent bottle, frosted bottle, colored bottle "White Porcelain Bottle, Essential Oil Bottle" (not commonly used in color but with high order quantity, less used in professional lines), spray painted

Printing: silk screen printing, hot stamping, (it is best not to exceed 2 times in total for silk screen printing and hot stamping, as there are too many color schemes, high defective products, and high costs)

Screen printing: There are usually two types of glass bottle screen printing. One is high-temperature ink screen printing, which is characterized by difficulty in decolorization, dull color, and difficulty in purple color adjustment. The other is low-temperature ink screen printing, which has a bright color and high requirements for ink. Otherwise, it is easy to peel off, and attention should be paid to bottle disinfection.
